DESIGN ASSOCIATES (HDA) is a California
based full service hospitality design firm which was founded in 1981 by its
co-principals; the husband & wife team of Stephen R. Hosa,
planning + design, and Shirley M. Hosa, interior
design. As design professionals, HDA is Board Certified by the NCIDQ,
Certification No. 012505, which represents the highest level of national
testing and certification in our industry and is also registered with the Los
Angeles Conservancy for historical renovation projects.
Over these many years,
HDA has specialized in providing new and creative design
solutions for RESTAURANTS, HOTELS, PRIVATE CLUBS,
and CULTURAL INSTITUTIONS (Libraries, Museums, Universities), and has been
